Symptoms of retinal detachment:

The initial symptoms of retinal detachment involve flashing lights and floaters. Your vision might become blurry or you might have poor vision due to retinal detachment. Seeing a shadow or a curtain descending from the top of the eye or across from the side is also a sign of retinal detachment. The signs of retinal detachment can occur gradually as the retina pulls away from the supportive tissue or it can occur suddenly of the retina detaches immediately.
