A Porcelain veneer is a thin shell of porcelain that is bonded onto the front surface of tooth to improve its cosmetic appearance. Veneers are very thin (approximately 0.5 millimeters), translucent porcelain (ceramic) facings, that are made in laboratory after an impression.
