Yoga music is so simple and light that it affects in a positive way on the mind and improves the general outlook of the person. Musical vibrations work as a divine power in giving stability to the mental thoughts. The most commonly used chant in yoga music is ‘OM’. The theme is generally classical and emits pure vibration and feelings.

Different types of music categories are there and the judgment of the theme can be done by your own feelings. The theme or music that can help in soothing you mind is the one that goes well with your spirit of self realization. It is because it is directly connected to the soul. The musical vibrations and the mind are directly connected.

Yoga music is a symbol of divinity acting as a force of taking the mind to the top. It is the position of self realization and unification of the mind with the god. Indian classical music is based on the tones of Bach, Vivaldi and Mozart generally which are closely associated with the yoga music. This music relaxes the mind and body. There some famous yoga musicians who still have imprints of the past musical production. They can compose tradition music just as the type of Sahaja yogis. Sahaja yogis have discovered various musical pieces though their own way of gaining self realization.

There is another type of yoga music named Kalakendra yoga. It is said to be a unique effort in the field of traditional music developed through the means of meditation. It concentrates on the appreciation of the country’s civilization. Most of its structure is based on the Indian spiritual and traditional ways which compiles everything from yoga, ayurveda and general Vedas.
